Nurturing Birth Doula 2019
The training for the ”antenatal and postnatal birth Doula" was about learning what it takes for childbirth, but above all what it does not need. Many things were already self-evident for me, due to my own experience with childbirth. I learned the Rebozo and other cloth techniques, we learned what it means to act in the background and to work out all the important preferences and wishes with the family in advance, so that we can simply “be there” during the birth. The main focus of the work is to support already during pregnancy - to strengthen, encourage and give confidence to the family. Because everyone already has the strength within them to be able to see the birth as natural and to let it happen.

Breastfeeding support (IBCLC Standard) 2020
During my 1-year training at Breastfeeding London, I learned what breastfeeding means, how it works and what we can try if it doesn't work that way. It was part of the 120-hour theory during the officially recognized IBCLC training. Because in the end it is clear: breastfeeding is nature - it is not better, it is naturally intended as breastfeeding is the perfect match to the needs of our children. Breastfeeding is a process and a dialogue between mother and child - And what we know about processes is that they are vulnerable at all time. We have to coordinate, align, readjust again and again - and that takes strength, patience and the right environment.

Hypnobirthing teacher (Dipl. KG) 2021
In 2021 I was finally allowed to immerse myself in the training as a hypnobirthing teacher. Deepening and learning new techniques of hypnosis. Hypnobirthing as preparation for childbirth is not a necessity, but a tool in today's world to focus our mind on the essentials and thus distract it from fueling fears or letting ourselves be guided by expectations. But this requires the right environment. We have to feel safe and secure and we have to be so informed that we get our trust in the natural process back from birth and that we won’t be interrupted in our process to easily. Tools such as deep relaxation, among others like affirmations, are helping as well.

Biomechanics for birth 2022
I have completed this additional training in addition to my work as KG Hypnobirthing. It helped me to get a better understanding of the biomechanical processes before and during childbirth in order to prevent birth injuries, traumas and possible interventions before they’re needed.
